ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Civil Engineering Department established in the year 2015 with the intake of 60 students. It is endowed with well experienced, qualified and dedicated faculty with committed supporting staff. The Department runs the undergraduate programme to cater the challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Civil Engineering. Students of the department actively participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities apart from academics. The Department is located in an area of 820 sq.mt with 3 Classroom, 1 Tutorial Room, Departmental Library , Seminar Hall and 11 Laboratories which includes Engineering Geology ,Structural Analysis , Strength Of Material, Concrete Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Surveying, Transportation Engineering, Structural Analysis –I&II, Fluid Mechanics & Computer Lab.


About the Course

Civil Engineering is one of the largest branch among all the Engineering branches. It provides environment that makes students aware to exhibit effective interpersonal skills in teams and at work place with modern technology, sustainability, safety of structures, and contribution to the society. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from transportation to hydrology, geotechnical sciences to structural engineering, environmental to hydraulics. The Civil Engineering Degree prepares you to work in various Engineering areas like design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, buildings etc.

  3. Training the students to have a problem solving capabilities, team work.
  4. To Built smart engineers who have the ability to provide quick and effective solutions to the construction and moreover world’s problems.
